ROFLOL!! Oh can I relate! That's why my door remains shut and the doggies remain out. Well, Shadrach's not a problem. He doesn't - nor can he - leap. But Ollie is another story. So he's banned.
I hear ya! I have two small dogs that LOVE to jump up next to me when I am online....one is in my lap right now. So, I told myself, no coffee while online. Maybe I should not drink while reading my Bible, too.....I can already see my new Bible covered in coffee! NO!!! Thanks for the warning, Michelle, and I pray your laptop is fixed quickly and for a decent price.... PS Thanks for checking out my blog. :)
Hi MIchelle - Oh no! Sorry for your dilemma. Was it a Mac? Did you have insurance? Some home owners insurance companies offer an $8 year policy to cover cell phones and other electronic devices. Check it out. When I watched this video my dogs heard you whistle and call for your dog and they ran to the door barking. I totally get the dog thing. Mine brought a mouse in the garage today and tore it to pieces, leaving me the bones to pick up. Btw, I vlogged for the first time today--thanks to you. I still have a long way to go, but you inspire me.
Hey Michelle, One more thing...will you check out my blog and add it to your list if you like it? I'm going to add yours right now. Keep writing... and vlogging. Good luck with your Mac too! Random Writing Rants http://www.randomwritingrants.com
Yes, it's a Macbook Air. I don't have insurance and the warranty I bought doesn't cover acts of God or wiener dogs. I will definitely watch your vlog, though when I get it back. The computer I'm currently using is so stinking old, I can't watch videos. I was able to upload my own, but not able to watch it, so I hope there aren't any glitches. I will, however, pop over to your blog and check your regular posts.
Oh mercy, I saw this title and knew I had to see what you were talking about! I hate that for your laptop. I was just thinking how fond I am of my old, outdated laptop...written three books on this baby! Anyway. Praying they get yours all fixed and back to normal! Cute little naughty dog there...
Update: They had to order a new touchpad, which hopefully will fix it, but they won't know for certain until they get the part (on Monday) and put it in. If nothing else whacks out, it'll cost $209. If, however, the keyboard won't function (because it runs through the touchpad) then we're talking hundreds more. Oy!
Hey Girl - not sure if this works for lap-tops - but if you get your cell phone wet just put it in a box and cover it with rice.. Let it sit for a few days and the rice absorbs the moisture... I've had friends with this problem - they dropped their phones in inappropriate water places and this trick worked for them.. I think they used minute rice... no kidding ..
I hear voices. Loud. Incessant. And very real. Which basically gives me two options: choke back massive amounts of Prozac or write fiction. I chose the latter. Way cheaper. I've been writing since I discovered blank wall space and Crayolas. I seek to glorify God in all that I write...except for that graffiti phase I went through as a teenager. Oops. Did I say that out loud?

Hope they can fix it and inexpensively. :)
Your words, God's ear!

Yep. Prayer is a good thing.
Praying for an easy fix! Hang in there!
